Becoming Blog Obsessed

Yes, I played hookie today and skipped class. Actually both Dom and I did. We are bad, I know. There is a legitimate excuse though. Domenic and My sister Keitra's husband Issac have been going out 1-2 times a week for the past couple of weeks to hunt for elk! So here I am, spending my lonely days sitting on my bum and blogging. Not that there isn't dishes or laundry to do, I just prefer a little R&R sitting on my bum :)

I have also recently discovered "freecycle". It's like a D.I. but people can advertise things they want to get rid of, and the best part, it is all for free! It is kind of fun to look at some of the stuff people are getting rid of! even if you don't want anything, and it is an excellent way to junk your old stuff!

Okay, so I know I am maybe not the best about posting, but I do love changing my background. You may have noticed that I have changed the layout like five times within the last hour or so. Pathetic, I know, but this may just become my new favorite past time.
Now all I need is for people to read it so it is actually worth my time ha ha.

I did add some sweet music, that I am very proud of. The site I used is super cool too! You should check it out, they have almost every song you could ever want on a playlist and it is FREE! Can't get better than that.

Out with the boys

So, believe it or not, Domenic Sanelli went out hunting this year with my brother in law. I wish I could have been there myself to see it, although I know I would not have been able to handle the intense hiking and freezing temperatures up in the mountains. I did however, manage to get Dom to take a few pictures.

I must say, I am very proud of my hubby. After all, he isn't used to this out-doorsie kind of stuff, and this was his first time hunting...ever.

Domenic, Isaac, and Isaac's friend from work Aaron were out hunting for elk and deer, but it seems to have been a pretty tough season. We had 2-3 neighbors who also went deer and elk hunting and no one caught anything! Those dang animals must be pretty smart. Either that or everybody terrible hunters. I prefer the first :)

It would have been nice to have caught something, considering that the meat of of an elk would feed my sister and her husband as well as me and Dom for an entire year! Oh well, better luck next time.
Although, one night while my sister and I were waiting for our hubbies to come home, we saw this white truck pull up, and what do we see in the back? ANTLERS! or so we think, so here we are peeking out of her window and the guy driving the truck was probably thinking we were psycho weirdos or something, but we were so jealous!
So after looking into the bed of the truck for a few more minutes we realized that the things we were getting all jealous over were STICKS! We could have sworn they were antlers. Ha Ha, how embarrassing.

Here are some pictures from a couple of the hunting trips they took:

Isaac on looking down on the ridge.

Above is a picture of one of the ridges they were sitting on. I guess Elk like to hide in the brush so it is easier to see them from up high.

The Grand Teton Mountains!

Aaron (Isaac's work buddy) catching a little shut eye while the other boys were on the lookout.

Isaac Knight/ Bro-in-law (my sister Keitra's Husband)

Dom. What a goof ball. This is one of the only two pictures taken of him. Nice mexi stash huh? That is what you get when you are a guy and wake up at 4 in the morning to get out hunting by 5 a.m.

Some Indian cave painting that the boys found while hiking around. Pretty cool huh?

If nothing else, the sunset was worth the trip.

Home Sweet Home

So we finally finished decorating our apartment (Okay well like a month ago, but I have just been too lazy to put pictures up) in good old Rexburg, Idaho. Thanks to everybody who helped us out! (Cough, Dom's parents, cough) without you guys, we would not have such a sweet apartment and we would probably be sleeping on a blow up mattress as we speak.

So, I just have to put a little disclaimer down before you see any pictures. Our apartment is pretty old, we love it, it is a perfect place for us to start out (and it is dirt cheap!) But, don't mind the baseboard heaters or the carpeted kitchen, it is all part of the experience :) We are just dang lucky that our bathroom isn't carpeted too, Yikes!

Our Kitchen! Oh baby, check out that carpeted floor.
The Kitchen "bar"The Living Room
Thanks to Domenic's Brother Joe for the coffee table and couch, and his parents for the T.V. and brown leather chair.

The Bathroom
The shower curtain is brown, green, and creme. That is kind of the theme we were going for in here.
The Master Bedroom
The Spare Room Take 1
The bed belongs to my sister and brother in law, who conveniently live one floor below us in the same apartment complex! So much fun.
The Spare Room Take 2
The Dresser wouldn't fit into our bedroom so we decided to put it it the spare room. It actually works really well. Just a suggestion for anybody who has little room, get hanging closet organizers! They save so much space, we have two of them in our master bedroom closet and love them!Sorry a lot of the pictures are blurred, stupid camera, what can you do?
