Here is a glimpse of Gianni's first real encounter with Santa! He didn't do much except crane his little head around and stare at all that white beard, he was really confused that he was sitting on some big guy with white hair's lap.
Merry Christmas!

Tis the Season...for Christmas Cards
I have been waiting and waiting all year to send out Christmas cards, and now I finally have a reason now that we have Gianni. For the past two years, I have wanted to send some out, but haven't because I felt dumb sending just a picture of Domenic and I (plus I was too cheap). This year we have our little guy, and I feel like it is more worth while for us to end some out this year. Plus, I found great website that makes it so easy!
Are you ready?? Shutterfly.com AH-MaH-zING. Here are some super cute examples and some of my personal favorites:
I am going to have a really hard time choosing. They have so many options it may take you a while to pick your favorites, it took me a while just to choose three!
This website really has something for everyone and every budget. Right now, they are running a special and they have a pretty great selection of Christmas cards (click on "Christmas cards") for just $0.32 each! For the amount of hassle (nearly none) and the convenience, I would say this is a great deal!
I can see myself doing a lot of gift giving from this site. Not only am I so excited about Christmas cards, they also have things like calendars, personalized mugs, invitations, graduation announcements, and the list continues. You can get some seriously cute ideas rolling around just by browsing this site.
You know what is even more amazing? Shutterfly loves their bloggers! Just for blogging about them and telling you all how excited I am about finding them, they are giving me 50 free Christmas cards! Here is the link to their promotion http://bit.ly/sfly2010, hopefully there is still a little bit of time, the deadline is tomorrow 11:59pm PST to post). Keep your eyes open, they may have more blogging opportunities in the future!
Merry Christmas! Which do you think is the best? Go onto their webiste and tell me in a comment below!

I love the not so cliche color scheeme, I think it is pretty refreshing and classy.
CUTE. All I can say. Adorable maybe too.
I LOVE the cute little ornaments, so cheery!

more halloween
Here are some really funny videos of Domenic's pretty amazing dance moves. This is how Dom and his friend Justin (I think there may be one of Domenic's sister Christine at the end too) answered the door for tricker treaters...

Gianni's First Halloween
Saturday the 30th our ward put on a trunk or treat which was super nice because as we all know, Halloween was on Sunday this year :( so no trick or treating around the neighborhood for use (although we probably wouldn't have gone to any houses other than people we know just b/c Gianni is still pretty young, and I feel kind of bad trick or treating for candy he can't eat).
I was really curious how he would do with all of the crazy costumes, but he loved it!! Actually, at one point our relief society president was holding him while he was sleeping so that we could eat, and she was dressed up as the shrek princess (name?), and I mean REALLY dressed up, like green face and the funky ears and everything. Gianni woke up in her arms and didn't even wince. This kid has zero stranger anxiety, even for green-faced strangers!
Halloween we turned on some spooky music to add to the outside decor for trick or treaters and even though we didn't go out, we though we should still hand out candy, I mean they were going to ring the doorbell anyways and make the dogs go crazy.
We dressed Gianni up again so that we could take some pictures and show him off to the trick or treaters. Now, for the pictures...

I am still alive, promise
In case you are wondering if I am still alive, I am!
Between moving, trips, and family my time has just.. i don't know... dissapeared? And I am so sad that I have been such a terrible up-dater, especially since so much has changed!
Here are a few updates to hold you over unil I find my camera battery charger (yes, along with many things we have recently misplaced...my brain being one of them... we have yet to find our camera battery charger so we can post some seriously adorable pictures of Gianni)
Gianni has 2 teeth! and yes, he bites.
He walks around with this little toy car that is baby sized and has a handle (did i mention it plays music and he likes to dance to it??), but is too chicken to stand on his own.
He is a teething maniac and will chew on anything and everything (have I ever told you my theory on how babies are just like puppies??)
He is a pro crawler and especially enjoys crawling everywhere he isn't supposed to be (like the stairs...yikes)
Domenic is officially into his Maters program at UW
We are living with the Sanelli Parents for the time being and are so grateful for their generosity
We miss all of our friends back at BYU-I (you know who you are)
I love being back in Seattle, but miss my family a lot
So, there you go... for now. We are still around, we have just been trying to get settled in and now that we are I really have no excuse (other than the fact that I should be spending my free time sleeping...If only babies were born sleeping through the night and never woke up at 1, 3 and, 5 a.m.-any suggestions?)

They call me spike
Although Gianni is still working on growing his hair, it is just barely getting long enough to spike. It spikes really well in the back, but we might have to wait a little while for the front haha. I love seeing little boys whose hair is spiked or gelled, I can't wait :)

New hair
I just cut 9 whole inches off my hair last night!!! Was it scary? Oh yes, but it had to be done. Ever since I had Gianni, my hair has been falling out like crazy (and I mean like chunks of hair all day every day) and my hair was looking pretty drab so I chopped it all off! This way when it grows back in I wont have the dreaded mullet look...hopefully. It's fun, I never though I would like my hair this short, but its a nice change, especially since summer is rolling around the corner (hopefully). ( P.S. If anybody reading this is in Rexburg I highly recommend going to the girl I went to! If you are interested I'll for sure give you all of her info.)

Kyle and Ashley's wedding
WARNING: This post is super late, but I had to post about my bros wedding! Kyle got married May 1st in the Seattle, WA temple to the lovely Ashley. They make such a great couple. Anywho, here are a few pictures from our trip up there.
When we got in, we stopped by Dom's Grandma and Grandpa Sanelli's house so
they could meet Gianni.
Gianni snuggling his great g-pa Sanelli, it had been a long day of flying and driving.

This is Gianni with my Gumpa (goompaw) Horne. My Gummi (goomee, thats what I used to call her when I was a little girlie) Horne is smiling sweetly in the background.
Coming out of the temple. It was such a beautiful sealing.
The happy couple
So in love
Pinning the flower
Our neice Gabi with her daddy. She is such a doll.
Sibbling love. You would never know that Keitra is preggers (almost 8 months actually!)
Ryan's Family (ry, Jennie, and Baby Emma)
Cousins Emma and Gianni at the wedding luncheon. Emma really liked grabbing Gianni. It always starts out so innocently...
then she finds the overalls...
I love Emma and Gianni's faces here. Emma looks so curious as if shes thinking"what's in there?" and Gianni is shocked at how strong she is. I love that they are close in age, I look forward to when they can really play. So much fun.
