Our Wedding

We finally got our wedding pictures!!! Yay! Below are some of our favorites, taken by a very good friend of the Sanelli Family, Jenny. If you are interested in her work, visit her website: http://www.olsonphoto.com/.

Here is a little taste of our wedding day. So, there I was, August 23rd, 3 a.m. in the morning and I hadn't gone to sleep yet. First big mistake. Looking back, getting two hours of sleep the night before did me no good on the big day. Little did I know what was in store for me in the next couple of hours. So the schedule looked something like this, go to bed (3 a.m.), wake up (6 a.m.), hair appointment at Gene Juarez (7 a.m.), Make-up (8 a.m.), head off to the temple (be there at 9 a.m.). Already, at 6 a.m, my day was hectic and very fast-paced.

The temple session was beautiful, It was very short and very sweet. It seemed like within ten minutes we were married! (although I guarantee it took longer than that:). I loved every minute of it.

So, after pictures had been taken (around 11:30 a.m.) we headed off to the Sanelli's house for the luncheon. The food was so good! What was even better was that both Domenic and I were able to get out of our wedding clothes and change into something a little more comfortable. Tuxes and wedding dresses may look nice, but you do not want to be wearing them longer than you need to.

After the luncheon we had a chance to catch a little shut eye. So nice! Especially since the two of us only got about 3 hours of sleep the night before.

Next on the agenda was the reception. The reception was absolutely beautiful! A close friend of my family, Susan Watanabe, did a tremendeous job on our wedding reception decorations. So, after standing in line for about and hour, we decided to cut our cake, which as delicious as it was, started falling. Sad, I know. After the reception we joked that it was the leaning tower of pisa, it seemed fitting for an itallian-ish wedding. (Pictures and more details are soon to come).

All-in-all, We could not have asked for a better day. It had been raining all week long, and then miraculously it was sunny for our wedding (which was a serious miracle because our reception was out-doors) and then it rained again the following day. Someone was looking out for us, thats for dang sure!

Anyways, enough of my blabbing, I'm sure you want to see pictures! I know that is what I look forward to at least!
