Life

I know I have done a million posts about gianni, but I thought I might share a little bit of what's going on in our crazy lives too.

Today Domenic ends his internship with KPMG (for those of you who don't know KPMG is one of the top 4 accounting firms in the U.S.). He has been working his tail off, and I mean literally. He leaves the house at 7:15 am and doesn't get home until 8 pm (and that's if we're lucky). He has had quite a few days where he didn't get home until 11 pm-12 am not to mention that he worked EVERY single Saturday since January 7th. It has been a huge blessing for him to have gotten a paid internship, especially in this economy, but i'm happy it's over. Needless to say I am super super excited to have him be done, and home to hang out with gianni and I.

Also, Domenic got into the Masters of Accounting at the University of Washington! We couldn't be more excited for him. Right now we are waiting on BYU to respond to his application. It would be sweet if he got into BYU because it's the #1 accounting school in the nation, but only 3% of the people they accept are outside of BYU Provo so even though Domenic does have a 4.0 and looks AMAZING on paper, the chances are still pretty slim unfortunately.

As for me, I finally got out of the house and took a walk in the gorgeous sunshine with Gianni. I got one of those sleepy wraps so I can just slip him in and go for a stroll. Can i say that the weather in Boise is amazing?? It is rediculous, I mean really. It has been about 60 degrees for the past week. I am starting to get the hang of things and have been attempting to get Gianni on a schedule. We'll see how that works, so far he's resisting it pretty well. Once i get him on one though, I can hopefully turn into a human again. As of now I am still a nocturnal zombie.

All in all life is sweet. We are a happy family who are growing and learning together. Through all the struggles we find happiness, and through pain we are finding ways to laugh. Family is such a blessing and I could not imagine my life any other way. Heavenly father has blessed me with so much and I cam so grateful for that.

Domenic does look amazing on paper, but you should see him with his shirt off! You're the man Domenic. Great job!
