My 1st (real) Mothers Day!

Gianni and I waiting in bed for my breakfast (please excuse the lack of make-up/pasty white face. This is pre-getting ready)
My mothers day meal and rose

Me, so excited about my amazing meal

Happy Mothers Day to me! Domenic was a sweetheart and made me breakfast in bed. The pictures above are a sequence of how it went haha. It was such a great day! I am so grateful to be a mom, Gianni is such a sweatheart, and although he is obviously too young to understand any of this, he was a little cutie the whole day :) Happy mothers day to you too!

To The Mothers I love

HAPPY MOTHERS DAY (late)!!!! There are so many amazing women (mothers) in my life, I could spend hours making post after post after post about all of them, but right now I just want to thank a couple :)

To my dear sweet mom, I love you so much! This day is most definitely for you. You are so giving, kind, loving, and beautiful. I hope you know how much we truly love you. Thank you for all that you have done and continue to do! Happy Mothers Day!

I am so grateful to have been blessed with the most amazing in-laws in the entire world. Happy Mothers Day to Leila. You are so tallented, generous and fun. I am so grateful to have been blessed with having you as a second mom, and a grandma to Gianni. We love you so much!

Everythings Amazing & Nobodys Happy

I love this! Not only is it hilarious, but everything he says is so true! Why can't we just be happy with what we have? We are all so blessed to have everything we do! I hope you enjoy this as much as I did.

Bright Sunny Days

The weather has been so incredibly nice lately that Gianni and I have been taking walks on a  daily basis. Here are pictures on how our walk went. 1: trying on mommy's sunglasses 2(upper left): Wide eyed and bushy tailed 3(bottom right and bottom left): out for the count.

Super Bubby!

Domenic and Gianni have a favorite game hat they play, it is called superman, as you can see from the pictures we have a superhero baby on our hands :) Here is how the game goes. Dom lays on the ground on his back and gianni sits on his stomach kneeling. Usually Gianni will start to lean forward smiling (like the bottom left picture) and then will proceed to kick his legs out, at which point Domenic lifts him into the air and makes a "whoosh" sound. Gianni goes crazy for it, in fact he usually starts crying when Dom stops. Anyways, here are some pics :)

Like Father, Like son

So Domenic and I were watching the videos I posted yesterday and I couldn't help but notice a part of the video where Gianni is giving the camera a very similar look that his daddy did back in the day (and to be honest still does at times :) ). I couldn't help myself but to do a side-by-side. It is amazing how good of a mix of both of us he is, but there are times that I can't help but thinking, "you are your father's son!"

3 Months and...Walking??

Okay, so he obviously Isn't walking, but the kid is super strong, he has been pulling himself up while sitting on our laps for about a week now! He hates being on his belly, but LOVES standing up and looking around. It almost makes me wonder if he is going to be walking before he crawls... We never cease to be amazed with this little guy :)

Here is another standing video, oh, and please disregard the lack of pants. What can I say? He's a baby!

And, in case you haven't noticed, Gianni is such a ham for the camera, already and he's only 3 months old! But he definitely knows what the camera is and always shows off for it :) I love the very end of the video how Domenic starts to laugh, and he gets startled by it haha classic.

My first photo collage :)

Isn't he getting so big?! We just love him so much, he is such a joy!

Life

I know I have done a million posts about gianni, but I thought I might share a little bit of what's going on in our crazy lives too.

Today Domenic ends his internship with KPMG (for those of you who don't know KPMG is one of the top 4 accounting firms in the U.S.). He has been working his tail off, and I mean literally. He leaves the house at 7:15 am and doesn't get home until 8 pm (and that's if we're lucky). He has had quite a few days where he didn't get home until 11 pm-12 am not to mention that he worked EVERY single Saturday since January 7th. It has been a huge blessing for him to have gotten a paid internship, especially in this economy, but i'm happy it's over. Needless to say I am super super excited to have him be done, and home to hang out with gianni and I.

Also, Domenic got into the Masters of Accounting at the University of Washington! We couldn't be more excited for him. Right now we are waiting on BYU to respond to his application. It would be sweet if he got into BYU because it's the #1 accounting school in the nation, but only 3% of the people they accept are outside of BYU Provo so even though Domenic does have a 4.0 and looks AMAZING on paper, the chances are still pretty slim unfortunately.

As for me, I finally got out of the house and took a walk in the gorgeous sunshine with Gianni. I got one of those sleepy wraps so I can just slip him in and go for a stroll. Can i say that the weather in Boise is amazing?? It is rediculous, I mean really. It has been about 60 degrees for the past week. I am starting to get the hang of things and have been attempting to get Gianni on a schedule. We'll see how that works, so far he's resisting it pretty well. Once i get him on one though, I can hopefully turn into a human again. As of now I am still a nocturnal zombie.

All in all life is sweet. We are a happy family who are growing and learning together. Through all the struggles we find happiness, and through pain we are finding ways to laugh. Family is such a blessing and I could not imagine my life any other way. Heavenly father has blessed me with so much and I cam so grateful for that.
